AI fluency, the skill almost nobody is actually teaching
Most AI training hands you a phrase book. A list of prompts to copy, a few clever shortcuts, and the promise that you will sound like an expert by Friday. It does not work, because that is not how the tool works. AI is not a search box you feed the right magic words. It is closer to a colleague, one you get more from the more clearly you talk to it.
Fluency is the difference. It is the ability to hold a real, working conversation with AI: to brief it, push back on it, refine what it gives you, and shape the result until it is genuinely yours. Like any language, you do not learn it from a cheat sheet. You learn it by using it, with someone who already speaks it sitting beside you. That is what Altius Intelligence exists to do.

There is a scene many people remember from The Matrix, where a character needs to fly a helicopter and, seconds later, can. That image is the closest thing to what working fluently with AI actually feels like. Classes are led by Christine Ely, author of the Approachable series and an AI consultant who has spent her whole working life with computers and software. She does not teach AI from the outside. She uses it every day, in real consulting work, and teaches it the way she actually works.
Alongside her, guest tutors from a range of industries share how they put AI to work in their own fields, from professional services to the trades, so you see fluency applied in settings close to your own. It is one thing to hear the principles. It is another to watch someone in your line of work use them, and explain why.
